Brett Umenberger

Graduated from University of Sydney, 1990 B.App.Sc (Physiotherapy)

Originally trained as an Intensive Care nurse specialist before moving into physiotherapy 25 years ago.
Team physiotherapist assisting wife Ruth for Guildford Rugby League Football Club.
Particular interests are in acupuncture, acute injury management, plasters and manipulation. 

Recently returned from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, promoting primary health care through training of allied medical staff in Bukavu.


Regular mountain bike cyclist and  MS Gong Ride participant 2014 (100km road event for charity)

Commutes to work by bike when possible...

Average golfer , avid guitarist and band member.

Ruth Umenberger

Graduated from University of Sydney, 1980 B.App.Sc (Physiotherapy) 

Staff physio at the Nova Scotia Rehab Centre ,Canada.
Volunteered at the Pan Pacific Wheelchair Games in Halifax 1982
Competed in The Masters Swimming Championships in Canada 1982
Associate physiotherapist for Panthers Rugby League Club in the mid 80s
Volunteer at NSW State Netball
Team physiotherapist for the Guildford RLFC for 2 years

Particular interest in acupuncture , low back pain and motivational strategies for exercise!


Average comp tennis player and social golfer 
Regular walker , patchworker and winner of  702 ABC radio competitions.
